Change your clock, check your detectors!

When you change your clocks for daylight savings time, take a minute to test your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. Many older smoke detectors take batteries that should be tested and changed as needed. Newer smoke detectors may not have accessible batteries, but check to see if they are functioning properly. If you have a separate carbon monoxide detector, be sure to check that too.
