Stay Warm and Safe This Fall

Before cold weather arrives, here are a few steps every homeowner should take.

Turn on the heat - Check your furnace to see if it is working properly and, if you have concerns, schedule a professional for a tune-up. An HVAC professional will check the thermostat, fix loose electrical or gas connections, and check the unit's blower motor and heat exchanger.

Change your air filters - A dirty air filter makes an HVAC system inefficient and energy bills higher.

Check your chimney - Soot in a chimney may catch fire and a clogged chimney means smoke and carbon monoxide may be released into your home. Contact a local chimney sweep for service.
